Who we are
ORTECH VIP PROTECTION is a start-up security corporation offering an extensive line of
security and personal protection services. The firm was established by Mr. Shumani Oriel
Mbedzi. The company is 100% black-owned and was founded in 2021. Initially, the
company was established to assist the S.A.P.S (South African Police Services) and other
companies to combat crime and protect properties.The company was formed to take
advantage of the significant weakness and inadequacies in local,regional, and national
security and protection companies in terms of professionalism, quality, and customer
satisfaction.
Mr. Shumani Oriel Mbedzi (Director) is currently a Managing Director responsible for the day
to day operations. Once a new client comes on board, the managing director must also
nurture this new business relationship. He helps make the transition smoother and
addresses the client’s major concerns on an on-going basis. He must stay abreast of new
developments in the client’s industry so that He can recommend new strategies and focuses
for the company. He is also managing the finances of the business.
The company’s primary target market will be the private, small and big companies,publicinstitutions, retailer’s stores, and residential properties personal protection for high profile, high risk, individuals, and security consulting and training services. The management team and staff of the company share a wealth of experience and knowledge in the various aspect of the security industry.

Duties:
- Attend meetings with operational manager on a daily and weekly basis
- Do site visits on a daily basis as well as nights shifts ( 24 hours seven days a week)
- Posting of security officers
- Site inspection
- Ensuring that security officers are dressed appropriately
- Respond to calls from security officers with respect to problems on site

Duties:
- Training and reinforcing subordinate sta ffin their duties on site
- Any other duties as may be defined from time to time
- Liaison with management and designated person on all matters relating to overall control and supervision of subordinate staf
- Writing and submitting monthly reports with your management to report upon security activities
Security officers
Duties:
- Scan parcels
- Monitor your premise using video surveillance
- Report all incidents within 24 hours
- Guard entrances and screen guests/ employees
- Protect your assets
- Control parking
- Control entrance of public vehicle
- Patrol around premises on a daily bases
